Haiku as Summer turns into Autumn

Dark autumn night
Bright stars of the milky way
Cries of passing geese

Happiness and sadness
In this late summer wine
Birds migrating

What is life
But a collection of days
Each wasted perfectly

Dim light, autumn rain
Walking across the rye field
Heavy doves take off

Scarecrows in moonlight
Watching the wind on the rice
Dancing a tango

Mirrors remember
Everything they have seen
Never shown again

Morning sky
Some sleeping, some watching
Migrating geese

Clouds rising
River dried out
Birds still chirp

Not so quickly with dried out rivers!
