Poetry of Diefenbach

Haiku

Blazing flames
On the oven baked apples
Cat passes by

Star

You are the star
Rushing through the universe
Not part of a constellation
Hurrying further
Through all pictures
Always bright
Never hidden
And never reached
Always you yourself

Haiku

The pierced heart
In which the knife still sticks
Croaking raven

Solidified

So-
Lidified
The eyes empty
They are seaming
Azur from zenit to nadir

Cut-
Ting wind
But eyes cut open
Clouds from vaults

Fro-
Zen wind orphans
Crystals
Withering cloud flowers

So-
Lidified
Eastern vision
Expecting the spring moon

Night

Night, flowing
No stream carrying along
Steady flow
Of darkness and silence

Light breeze of gloom
Blowing
Blowing away
Aching

In the deep of the night
A star
Above the black vortex

Changes

Profaned chapel
No singing, no prayer, no faith
Two rusting bicycles
Damp clothing
Forgotten color pots
Uncluttering and gospel, ...
Seriously

Driftwood

Drifted
On the bank
Scaled off
Pale
But there remains
Past

On the pale beach
Kindle driftwood
Out of the flames
Ascending
History
